Theme: The Berkley Cultural Council (BCC) awards grants to projects and programs in the arts,
humanities and sciences. The logo should reflect our mission and purpose. “Berkley Cultural Council” must be
included in the logo.
Color: A color logo is required There are no limitations and any colors may be used. However, the
logo must look good printed in color and black and white at various sizes.
Size: The logo should be no larger than eight inches on its longest side. Logo must be submitted as a
600 dpi jpeg or a vector image. Logo must be easily reproducible and scalable for large and small formatting.
Submission: All logos must be submitted via email to: berkleylogo@gmail.com or upload using the form at
www.comm165.com/berkleylogoentry by 11:59 PM on Friday, April 15, 2022. Entrant must include their full name, postal address, phone number and email address. Incomplete entries will be discarded. Check the rules before submitting.
Integrity: Logos cannot contain copyrighted material or images that belong to a third party. By
submission of an entry, entrant attests that the logo is the original work of the entrant.
HOW TO ENTER:
Create a logo design. You may create a digital design or a hand-drawn design that is then scanned in
and submitted digitally. Only digital submissions will be accepted. Please put each design in a single image file. There is no limit to the number of entries an individual may submit, and multiple entries may be submitted in one email, provided they are all the work of the same entrant.

OFFICIAL RULES
Must be a resident of Massachusetts.
All entries become the property of the Berkley Cultural Council (BCC).
By submitting an entry, the entrant agrees that any and all intellectual property
rights in the logo design are deemed assigned to BCC, and that the BCC shall be
entitled to unrestricted use of the entries without compensation to the entrant.
The winning logo will be chosen by the members of the BCC and an
industry professional during a blind review. Their decision will be final.
The BCC reserves the right not to select a winner if no entries satisfy
judging criteria.
Selection Criteria: The BCC will evaluate all entries based on the
following criteria (though other criteria may be considered): Relevance,
Originality and Aesthetic Quality.
Prize: A $500 cash prize will be awarded to the winning entry.
